I am selling hay this year form my own fields at 675 Thomas Hill Road in Halifax, VT ( 3 miles from Marlboro College). I have two fields – 3 acre field is Orchard grass, 11 acre field is orchard grass with a small amount of alfalfa and clover. I’m asking $4 a bale. The fields can be seen prior to cutting anytime anyone would like to stop by. I’m working with the Connecticut River Ag services in Charleston NH to produce the best crop of hay possible. The second cut both fields will be nothing but quality orchard grass. I’m looking to establish long term relationships with customers so we can count on each other year after year. Two beautiful healthy unregistered Saanen doelings, Aster & Holly, born March 2011. Excellent milking genes, bottle raised so very sweet and friendly. Horned. $60 each or both for $100. Also a FREE 4 year old unregistered Saanen doe. Snowbelle was retired this spring after developing pregnancy toxemia during twin delivery. We don’t want to put her at risk again, so she is a pet. She is gentle, follows people readily, so would make a good trek/pack goat or companion animal. She has a large scur that is not dangerous to others as it curls instead of points.
